There is a new theme emerging from the progressive propaganda machine, and it’s “morality”. If you pay attention, you will find the M-word being bandied about by politicians in their stump speeches, by late-night talk show hosts, and laughably….by the entertainment industry. Whether by coincidence or design, all are using the same language about morality to decry and describe our current national climate. At the same time they are employing a unified tactic to not only win elections and gain power, but to also further their destructive social agenda.
According to our betters in media and politics, the crass immorality, indecency, and racism of King Donny Drumph must be overcome. The fact that the United States is undeniably on an economic upswing under Trump’s guidance compared to the malaise of the Obama decade is irrelevant. The fact that Trump was a universally liked American icon, and that he was never accused of racism or being “mentally unhinged” before running for president is also irrelevant. The 24-hour, non-stop campaign of hate and outright lies being waged against Trump since coming down the escalator and announcing his candidacy has been breathtaking, and for many, it has worked brilliantly. I find it quite sad that so many are incapable of asking themselves this question: What has Trump gained personally from his presidency? In case you didn’t know, his net worth has taken a massive hit, and so has his brand and the future of his progeny. In fact, the end result may be his absolute personal destruction.
On the flip side, those now consumed with the morality of the nation and it’s president are the very same people who have brought us to cultural collapse. It is no coincidence that while entertainment, media, and academia have advocated for the poisonous philosophies of progressivism – the fabric of society has simultaneously become rotten and decayed. The ego-centric purveyors of selfish personal escapism and depravity now accept awards for their indecency, and while doing so they spout talking points about “acceptance”, “tolerance”, and “love”. The most immoral and vain among us now profess their virtuous fides, and cast their god-like visage down on the plebs in disgust for not worshipping at their Christian Louboutin and Gucci clad feet. Pay no mind to the spread of gender-based mental illness and absolute civic ignorance, just feel good about yourself for never saying “no” to anything while avoiding the condemnation of the GroupThink mob.
The left is now of one mind: They are the arbiters of all that is right and good. No matter how crazy and illogical their ideas and opinions, they are correct. No matter how historically foolish their initiatives are, they must be respected. Regardless of the incredible lunacy of sacrificing individual liberty and prosperity in a quest to change the course of the planet’s weather, they must be taken seriously and their policies obeyed. To oppose, even mildly, is to bring judgment and then wrath, and atonement is impossible. Only blind devotion will do, and in that devotion even your most devious actions will be overlooked, if not outright endorsed, excused, and condoned. If you don’t believe me, just ask Jussie Smollet.
Yes, you’re going to hear much about morality and how it must be returned to our society and it’s discourse. You’re going to be told that there are systemic and massive inequities all around you that must be addressed and atoned for. Why? Because in the crusade to “fix” these problems, the owners of these voices will become very wealthy and powerful. Who cares that in the hundred-year march of the Progressives none of these problems have been solved ( because they can’t be – they can only be identified, acknowledged, and understood ), they have only worsened. The oft-repeated and calculated lies designed to obscure the truth from you are so pervasive, so well crafted and produced, that to pierce their veil requires diligence and discernment. Up is down, right is wrong, sane is insane….that is the environment you inhabit, it is the air around you, and to forget that or be lulled into apathy is folly. The worst among us now will be judge of what’s moral….because once you frame your opposition as not just wrong but evil, there is nothing you won’t feel justified in doing, and that is a very dangerous, and immoral, place to be.
“Moral justification is a powerful disengagement mechanism. Destructive conduct is made personally and socially acceptable by portraying it in the service of moral ends. This is why appeals against violent means usually fall on deaf ears.” – Albert Bandura
