I get it. No, I really do. You want to love who you want, how you want. You want the freedom to not be harassed, and for your specific and private sexual life choices to be tolerated by others who may not agree or understand, for whatever reasons. Ok, now what?
Well, I don’t know about you, but my perception is that those aforementioned goals were met, and now everyone can do whatever they want as consenting adults. Government and corporations alike not only approve of, but actively promote and endorse the allegedly oppressed Alphabet Community. Everywhere I am assaulted with one’s “private” choices, there is no escape from them it seems, and now I must not just tolerate these choices but celebrate, congratulate, and participate in them.
So whom is it that is the oppressor here, and who is the oppressed? Whose lifestyle is attacked, and whose is applauded?
I’m not trying to trigger anyone, to the extent I give a damn. Truth be told, I don’t care. I really, really don’t care. I want no part of your sex life, and I don’t want you to be involved in mine, either. I don’t want kids involved, and I thought we had an understanding about that, but you’re beyond pushing it in that department. Also, I’m not to be called a “cis” anymore than someone else should be called a “f@g”. Isn’t there enough division? Devising fake words to insult and degrade others is unacceptable, is it not? Is that really how we’re going to proceed? I thought, again, that we were past that.
While we’re at it, my “identity”, whatever stupid, pampered, 1st-world-construct that is, isn’t the fleshy tingly parts I have and where I put them. If it was, what a sad and pitiful existence that would be. Life is hard enough, and I can’t imagine someone building that life on nothing more than what gives them the “O-Face”. How tragically pathetic. Are people so desperate for affirmation of their shallow and narcissistic existence? Too bad, because real life doesn’t offer that. I promise.
This fixation on sex and self isn’t just gross, it’s destructive. Civilizations in collapse become obsessed with this kind of thing, and once again – on yet another existential subject – history is repeating. I’m starting to think that no matter how far we go, there’s never going to be an end to the rainbow.
“This has happened before…history is cyclic, and everywhere in the world you find this pattern in ancient times. That as a culture declines, you have an effervescence of transgender phenomena. That is the symptom of cultural collapse”. – Camille Paglia, American Feminist
